BRYAN S. DOSS
Mr. Doss has represented his clients in all aspects of litigation and transactional matters. He has represented large and small corporations and individuals in litigation matters relating to complex business disputes, construction issues, insurance bad faith, collections, employment discrimination and personal injury, among many other matters. Mr. Doss also has extensive experience pursuing bad faith causes of action relating to workers compensation claims against some of the largest insurance companies, including Zurich, Hartford and AIG. He has been involved in reinsurance disputes, classification disputes and other challenges relating to workers compensation insurance policies of employers. Mr. Doss is driven to find the best results for his clients and strives to facilitate the best outcome for his clients. Whether through “bet the company” litigation or a routine agreement, Mr. Doss’ clients are in the hands of an attorney who will work tirelessly for them. Mr. Doss’ prior experience in construction and the food industry provides him with great insight into the unique challenges that those in the construction and food industry routinely undergo or have yet to experience. He has represented several large developers, subcontractors and suppliers in contract disputes and construction disputes. Mr. Doss represents large and small food retailers, product developers and suppliers in the creation and negotiation of numerous business agreements. One of his clients was recently featured in the New York Times and on Good Morning America, and its founders were selected to Fortune’s 40 under 40. Mr. Doss has represented a wide range of clients in both litigated and non-litigated matters, drafted numerous legal pleadings, argued those pleadings before the court, obtained favorable verdicts in trials, arbitration and administrative hearings, and engaged in numerous successful mediation sessions on behalf of his clients. |

Mark J. Uyeno
Mark J. Uyeno has been practicing law for over 25 years and has known his law partner, Bryan S. Doss, for over 15 of those years. Originally hailing from Orange County, Mark graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in Psychology. Thereafter, Mark relocated to the Bay Area where he received his Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law along with a Certificate in Environmental Law with Distinction and was a recipient of an American Jurisprudence Award in California Environmental Law. Prior to creating the law firm of Doss & Uyeno with Bryan, Mark worked on wildfire cases at Robertson & Associates. Over the last several years, Mark’s practice has focused on handling wildfire cases, class action cases, construction defect law, mass tort litigation, toxic tort litigation, environmental law, personal injury law and business litigation. Mark worked extensively on the Thomas Fire case, the Woolsey Fire case, the Easy Fire case and the Roadrunner Fire case. Mark also worked on environmental and mass tort cases with the late Ed Masry at Masry & Vititoe, the firm depicted in the movie “Erin Brockovich”. Mark is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice law in California and the United States District Court, Central District of California and the United States District Court, Southern District of California. |
